Dane DeLucchi is more infamous than famous but still the very last rockstar; deeply embedded in the vein of good-old rock and roll but with his own fresh and original style. He writes memorable songs that stay with you and with thought-provoking, sometimes despairing while other times, uplifting and always rockin' way.

Dane is a prolific writer with an extensive and profoundly eclectic body of work and also is the author of two novels as well as a poetry book entitled "Foldable Poems"
Dane is a devout Orthodox Christian and has a YouTube channel where he reads the Bible in a way that he hopes will make the scriptures make more sense to folks and he does not dramatize it. It's called "AMSR Bible Readings." Heres a link

THE STAGE
"When I was in 2nd grade, I saw a line forming during break coming out of the multi-purpose room where there was a stage. I asked one of the kids what the line was for and he said that it was to tryout for the talent show. I immediately stood in line behind him though I had no talents or plan. I got on the stage and tucked my ear lobe into my ear-hole which was the only unique thing I could do. I belong on stage and am most happy there."

The dream follower
Does the dream finish the life?
or does life finish the dream?
Either way is death
I used to think I was crazy
But now I can spot it in my own face
I see my own madness and whirlwinds and dust-devils and wake
I’m confused by everything
But hardly ever surprised
By anything I do
Not shocked by how much I lack… The potential that I had
Against what I
Actually am;
A despairing soul that is worn and dry like a canyon
My middle and last names Are “No” and “Contest”
I see now that the journey will end before the return trip home
So, I’m going all in
A failure or no
To hell with it and me
I’m a believer In pure disbelief
Forgive me Father, but I’m beyond saving at this point
Folks used to want to shake my hand
That was back before, back when
I was the man
But I dawned the beggars rags
And the fools cap n bells
And I sat in the dunces corner
Entranced and unwell
And sickly
Now...
When a man comes home from war; they don’t put him in a home with
other shell-shocked shells of men
If I go back to halfway living I’ll take a life; my own

For I was dishonorably discharged but never enlisted
I was also sentenced to
death, but never convicted
